- Abstract
- This study focused on the characteristic of CO2 emission from marine fuel oil. The measuring instruments of CO2 emission were MEXA-9100F (for shop test) and modified PG-250 (for sea trial test). In this study, we carried out the emission measurement test in a container ship and a crude oil tanker ship. The results showed the positive correlation between NOx and CO2, and negative correlation between NOx and CO. In the sensitivity test of input variables to specific emission of
CO2, the principle factors affecting variance of specific emission were fuel consumption and engine power. In the near future, it is need to study about a ship-based contamination, a maritime traffic route, other parameters affecting the fuel consumption and engine power, and so on.
