Abstract
In this paper, six kinds of deep sea submersibles are introduced, and the variable ballast circuits are also discussed and simulated using SimulationX software as an analysis tool. The role of a variable ballast system which regulates the weight of a deep-sea submersible for carrying out the given mission at the any deep sea place is very important. The volume of the variable ballast is regulated by the sea water, and the sea water in the ballast is also controlled by the valve which is operated by the hydraulic pilot method. Generally, an in-depth consideration about the design parameters such as leakage, sealing, noise, rust, pressure and ballast level control technique should be needed for the hydraulic/water-hydraulic circuit exposed to a deep-sea environment. In this study, finally a new hydraulic/water hydraulic circuit f or the variable ballast system of a deep sea submersible is suggest ed and analyzed. ? 2015 IEEE.
