dc.description.abstract | During berthing and deberthing, tug boats assist the ship. The orders to tug boats are done by the pilots. The operations of tug boats are modelled in the MOERI's ship-handling simulator which is used to train the bridge operators and to assess the safety of harbor and waterway. This research has been carried out to improve the modelling of tug boat's forces at ship-handling simulator of MOERI/KORDI. This paper presents the surveyed characteristics of tug boats and the contents of improvement of mathematical modelling of tug boat. And the validation procedure for mathematical model of tug boats' operations are also suggested. | - |
