dc.description.abstract | In this paper, authors introduce about development of integrated Vessel Traffic Service(VTS) system including radar based system, satellite based Vessel Monitoring System(VMS) and VHF based Automatic Identification System (AIS). The platform using two radar simulators for radar based VTS was constructed for the development process and it was implemented that the process of the target tracking continuance in the overlapped area considering the radar detection distance. This is similar system to Port Traffic Management System(PTMS). Then, the interfaces for AIS and VMS were added. It is expected that this system and relational technologies will make a large contribution toward the safety of shipping-traffic environment. | - |
