Abstract

In the training process of the navy, ones of the important points are the route planning, the identification of current position of own ship compared with the planned route, and the control of own ship. To implement the first and second points, authors developed the electronic chart display software where an instructor can mark the voice position report of trainee on the planned route. For the third point, authors added the record and replay functions of simulation results on the instructor software controlling the simulation like the general ship-handling simulators of mercantile use. In this paper, brief introductions on the design and implementations of these instructor operation programs of ship-handling simulator system for naval use are described.
