dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we design the control and monitoring embedded system for deep-sea miner using two embedded controllers. The miner is very important system as end-effect equipment in the deep-sea mining system, and it has functional action for mining such driving, water jetting and crashing etc. Since the action is operated remotely, the miner is needed an embedded controller with real-time processing function. The embedded system of miner is needed two embedded controllers, the one which is called LOCAL on surface vessel, and the other which is called REMOTE is located in miner. The REMOTE plays a role transmitting all signals of miner to LOCAL. The LOCAL analyzes and manage the signal from the REMOTE. For embedded controller of miner, we select PXI platform which is real-time controller with fast calculating ability and developing language. | - |
