dc.description.abstract | The importance of human performance is gradually increasing by taking into account of ship-performance and safety. It has also being required that grafting of human factor engineering on the ship-design process for more effective and safer ships. This paper reviews current knowledge of the possible human factors which could be associated with performance, safety, and comfort. The preliminary investigation for the implementation procedure of human factors on future-ship-design is conducted. Five aspects -communication, information processing, health care, cognitive Process, biotechnology- , which might be essential for the improvement of human performance are selected, and their considerations are described. | - |
