dc.description.abstract | The Deep-sea miner is the system which gathers a manganese nodules in the deep-seabed. The miner have many sensors and actuators in order to move on the deep-seabed and gather the manganese nodules, which are controlled remotely in real-time by the station of surface vessel. This station should have GUI program for controlling and monitoring the deep-sea miner efficiently. In MOERI/KORDI, the frame body and mechanical parts of the test miner have been built. And the hydraulic power part, the electronic part and the control-monitoring part are configuring continuously. To develop GUI of control-monitoring part, the control station and simulator that consists imitating sensors and actuators of miner is made. In this paper the development simulator for control and monitoring of deep-sea miner and GUI using simulator will be described. LabVIEW is used for GUI developing tools. | - |
