dc.description.abstractThis paper deals with dynamic analysis of a test miner, which operates on seafloor soft terrain. The total weight of test miner is about 6390kg. The numerical analysis model of the test miner is made by commercial software. A terramechanics model of seafloor soft terrain is implemented to the software and applied to dynamic analysis of the test miner model by using user-define subroutine. The hydrodynamic forces are included in user-defined subroutine. The average pressureis about 8.6kPa. The degree of freedom is 758. The dynamic responses of the test miner are studied with respect to the properties of soft terrain, coefficients of added mass and drag.-
