dc.description.abstractIn this paper, we suggest the idea of monitoring the curvature of tether cable using an optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) and some results which were derived from experiments. Using suggested sensing system, adding a projection-shaped tube to the fiber optic line, the deformation degree of cable can be monitored in one operation of OTDR.-
