dc.description.abstractModern civilization has technical structures with heavily dependent on petroleum-based engineering technologies since the industrial revolution. The government has actively induced the use of renewable energy system due to high oil prices and international environmental protocols but it is actually impossible to dramatically reduce dependence on petroleum chemical industry in short term. Because development of oil and gas wells in relatively shallow sea was finished long ago and resources in deep sea about 1,000m have been depleted, demands about possible technologies of development for ultra deep sea are increased. In this study examined value-added technologies for deep-sea plant and the direction for future research was discussed.-
