dc.description.abstractAn electronic navigational chart(ENC) is static vector data sets that represent maritime geospatial objects. In spite of existence of dynamic objects, the vector data stored in ENC is only static. Depth information object is one of dynamic vector data. This is affected by tide information thus mariners have to consider it inconveniently. In order to solve this uncomfortable situation, this paper is intended as a development of Tide Aware ENC. This is capable of obtaining tidal level of desired area and time. We also developed the Bathymetric ENC(bENC) because it was more efficient when applying Tide Aware ENC. In this paper we developed Tide Aware ENC based on bENC and digital tide tables that digitalized tide tables in a type of nautical publications.vector data.
