dc.description.abstractThe maritime differential GPS (DGPS), which broadcasts GPS pseudorange corrections via medium frequency beacon signal to improve position accuracy and reliability, is a ground-based augmentation system (GBAS) as well as one of the most-used augmentation systems in maritime applications. Recently as the various satellite navigation systems are becoming available such as GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS, there is growing need to provide maritime DGNSS service and establish maritime DGNSS related standards. Some maritime applications including automatic docking and hydrography are waiting carrier-phase correction services to achieve more accurate positioning results than pseudorange correction services. Furthermore, diverse attempts to enhance the utilization of maritime DGPS station are under way along with efforts extending application and function of maritime DGPS as sated above.(이하 첨부 참조) augmentation systems in maritime applications.
