Abstract

If a marine riser is damaged to the external environment load, serious economic and environmental losses are inevitable. Therefore, It is important to find the damage in it`s initial stage through monitoring. This paper analyzed the research trends related to the dynamic response and structural health monitoring of marine risers. Also, the possibility of the marine riser damage detection is examined using OcraFlex 9.4 program and Stubb`s method.ch trends related to the dynamic response and structural health monitoring of marine risers.
