dc.description.abstractENC is the digitalization of coastlines, depth contours, soundings and nautical marks which used to be expressed on paper charts and during the digitalization of the information generalization procedures are implemented for established chart usage purposes. In this process, the difficulties of applying coherent standards and automated methodology results in uneven generalization levels. This research researched the methodology of evaluating various data produced by ENC especially focusing on the generalization of coastline uniformity level. Evaluation was performed with developed generalization evaluation tool.t usage purposes.
