dc.description.abstractThis paper introduces the effect of stern interceptor on a maneuverability of planing hull unmanned surface vehicle. In order to identify the effect, a free running test under various speed, nozzle angle, interceptor height condition. According to the free running test, there is a strong correlation between the interceptor height and steady state turning radius of the USV. This is due to the yaw control moment induced by the interceptor, where the magnitude of moment tends to be larger under high speed maneuver, small nozzle angle.-
