dc.description.abstract | In this paper, pump capacity of a submarine is addressed and dependence of dive time on volume of ballast tank is expressed. Moreover, effect of pump flow rate and volume of ballast tank on dive time of submarine is calculated. It is concluded that the assembly of high capacity ballast tank with high flow rate delivering high pressure piston pump reduces the dive time of submarine. This paper represents the dependence of submarine dive-time on specifications of high pressureseawater hydraulic pump with respect to volume of variable ballast tank. | - |
