dc.description.abstract | In this study, a heat supply system and a water quality monitoring system were designed to develop a multi-stage water temperature / water quality control and energy-saving aquaculture system using OTEC effluent. The capacity of the plant was estimated in consideration of the heat loss due to deep water supplied for the multi-stage aquaculture, the heat loss between aquaculture tanks and outside air, and the heat loss in the piping circulating the heat supply system. The breeding tank to be applied to the multi-stage farming consists of four systems, depending on fish species and temperature, and the size of each tank is different. The tank(System 1) for breeding sea cucumbers can store 20 tons of seawater in six rectangular forms. There are six tanks(System 2 and 3) for salmon breeding and a total of 60 tons of seawater including a filtration system. Salmon seed production tank(System 4) consists of one large tank and four medium tanks, and canstore and circulate 20 tons of seawater. Each tank is supplied with deep seawater at twice the capacity. The low temperature deep seawater of 5-8 ℃ is supplied to cool the high temperature tank in summer, and the system load is increased by adding the cooling load to the low temperature tank in winter.
