dc.description.abstract | A demonstration plant using a closed MW OTEC system is currently being built. To stabilize the seawater temperature differential power generation, automation through PID control is required. To construct the control system, a control logicis constructed, an algorithm is selected, and the control values are derived. These values, however, should be compared. In this paper, a closed OTEC optimal control system, which is to be demonstrated in Kiribati through simulation, was established to compare the operating characteristics and to build a system that maintains 1’C or higher superheat according to the seawater temperature change. | - |
