dc.description.abstract | The mined natural gas is liquefied for transportation after the impurities are removed. Liquefied natural gas is sent to the terminal and needs a phase change to a gas state for use. In the existing LNG terminal, a large amount of seawateris ingested and used for phase change of LNG, and the used seawater is discharged to the sea. In this study, ORC cycle using cold heat generated in the process of converting LNG into NG was studied. A staged ORC cycle was used, and net power increased and the required seawater decreased compared to the basic ORC cycle. | - |
