dc.description.abstractThis paper introduces electric system design of a Semi-Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (SAUV) which is under development in KORDI. The main focus of this study is on the estimation of power capacities of the electric systems equipped in the SAUV, such as actuators and batteries. Required output powers of actuators are estimated from design specifications of the vehicle. The total power consumption of electric system and power capacities of batteries can be calculated from the estimated output power. In addition to the power estimation process, the interface architecture of electric system for efficient integration of each equipment is described.-
