dc.description.abstract | Assessment of acquisition performance on GPS signals includes the detection probability and the mean acquisition time. The previous works about assessment of acquisition performance derived them with the assumption that the phase difference between an incoming code and a locally generated code is exactly known. However, they are not suitable in real environment. So, this paper derives a generalized detection probability without the assumption that the phase difference between an incoming code and a locally generated code is exactly known. It is shown that the derived detection probability includes the previous research works. It is found from the result that we can determine the detection probability and the mean acquisition time for the variations of the code phase interval in each correlation arm of a correlator. | - |
