dc.description.abstract | Recently, the need to establish an underwater acoustic wireless communication network for a harbor underwater surveillance system and a maritime surveillance network is increasing, and research on this has continuously been conducted. The acoustic channel between the fixed sensor nodes are affected by not only the large-time scale, but also diurnal variations of the ocean environment, which can be factors that change the performance of underwater communication. Therefore it is important to analyze communication channel and performance by effects of diurnal variations in ocean environment for communication performance prediction and network system design. In this study, ocean environmental factors affecting underwater acoustic communication channel and performance were investigated using 24-hour experimental data, and communication performance was analysed in relation to communication channel parameters. | - |
