dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we discuss the experimental results for a multi-hop short-range underwater acoustic network, which has communication range up to 200 m and a maximum transmission data rate of 100 kbps. The test is performed by a underwater acoustic channel simulator that provides a network test environment similar to the real sea test. We verify several functionalities of multi-hop short-range underwater acoustic network, including identifying nodes according to the number of hops, relaying data for uplink and downlink paths, and transmitting and receiving image data. | - |
