dc.description.abstractThe sloshing has been the subject of many studies in the past few decades because of its frequent application in several engineering disciplines. The need for accurate evaluation of sloshing loads is required for LNG tanks and aerospace vehicles where violent motions of liquid in the tanks can effect the motion and structure adversely. In this paper, the VOF method is adopted to solve the sloshing and the results are compared with the experimental results and the commertial CFD method, FLOW3D. The results show the good agreement. Also the effect of baffle in sloshing tank on the sloshing motion is studied by FLOW3D.-
