- Abstract
- This paper is concerned about verification of a numerical simulation model through experimental results, which are performed for straight maneuvering on soft and cohesive soil. The simulation results from a 3D numerical model with 6-dof are compared with experimental data. It aims at the finding corrections of simulation parameters to properly predict experimental results obtained from drawbar pull tests. It is proven that the numerical simulation model is useful for predicting straight maneuvering performance of a tracked vehicle on soft soil.
