- Abstract
- Engineering changes, whether it is desirable or undesirable, incur cost and delay in schedule. It should be avoided as much as possible and change management strategy should be chosen as to minimize the overall cost. This paper proposes a method to represent change propagation and formulate change absorbing problem into mathematical programming. Solution to the mathematical problem can lead to optimal change absorbing strategy that minimizes overall cost. ? Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2007.
