The usefulness of large amounts of heterogeneous distributed data necessitates the integration of XML data from multiple sources with many reasons. Currently, there are many information services, which are similar products but use different XML Schemas with different ontology. When such information is merged and supplied to users in cooperation, there is a need for an integrated schema for the homogeneous information system. The process of XML Schema integration includes three layers architecture, which consists of schema matching, comparison, integration. The three layers can be regarded conceptually as three phases of the integration process. During schema matching, elements matching between XML application schemas are archived. During the comparison phase, correspondences as well as conflicts between elements are identified. During the integration phase, conflict resolution, restructuring and merging of the initial schemas take place to obtain the global schema. In this paper, we proposed the matching method based on Schema Object Model (SOM) as first phase for the integration of Geospatial XML Schema. The geospatial application schemas used in this work are represented by KML, marine XML.-
