In this paper, we have analyzed the performance of MIMO combined with beamforming technologies as a way to reduce the distance between sensors while achieving the MIMO gain and beamforming gain simultaneously in underwater channel environments. After analyzing the simulation results, we found out that the average SINR increases 6.5dB when adapting the MIMO-beamforming technologies with four receiving sensors. ? 2012 IEEE.-
