- Abstract
- An experiment for source localization in a tank with a moving hydrophone array has been done. SAS processing gives high resolution data for the localization of image sources by surface and bottom reflections as well as for actual source location. However, for higher moving speed of receivers, SAS images are blurred and side lobes are observed. This may be caused by the difference of characteristics among multiple hydrophones, which cannot be observed in numerical simulations. Further studies should be done for removing the origin of image degradation.
