This study investigated the performance characteristics of ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC) cycles when using existing mixed refrigerants. Among the various available mixed refrigerants, R32/R152a and R32/R134a are used even in OTEC systems. For our simulations, R32/R152a and R32/R134a were used in the existing closed cycle. The temperature of the warm heat source was kept at 23°C, 26°C and 29°C, and that of the cold heat source was kept at 5?C. The cycles were analyzed for R32/R152a at composition ratios of 100:0 90:10~10:90, and 0:100. ? 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London.-
