dc.description.abstract | This paper represents estimation of the ice loads to evaluate structural safety of arctic offshore structure. Because the ice loads critically effects on the safety of arctic offshore structure, it is important to understand the ice behavior based on its characteristics. Therefore, nonlinear material properties and crack analysis of the ice are needed to consider them in the simulation model. In this paper, the simulation analysis is performed including actual fracture phenomenon of ice.
