dc.description.abstract | The underwater tracked vehicle has four travelling mechanism. This travelling mechanism is composed of chain, track shoe, sprocket, idler, upper and lower rollers. It is essential that the rolling characteristics of the roller should be analyzed to design the underwater tracked vehicle. In this study, we carried out the experiment to analyze the rolling performance of the lower rollers according to various conditions of roller and environment such as the viscosity of lubricant and outside temperature. The selection method of lubricant for deep-sea driving conditions and the effect of driving time on roller are investigated. | - |
