dc.description.abstract | This paper concerns about development of dynamic analysis model for a four-column tracked vehicle crawling on extremely cohesive soil, of which each side is composed of parallel two tracks. The four-column tracked vehicle is assumed as rigid body with 6 degree of freedom. Extremely cohesive soft soil is modeled in form of relationships: normal pressure to static sinkage, shear stress to shear displacement, and dynamic sinkage to shear displacement. Equation of motion of vehicle are derived with respect to the body-fixed coordinates. In order to investigate dynamic responses of four-column tracked vehicle, Newmark's method is employed by means of incremental-iterative algorithm. A nonlinear dynamic analysis program is developed in FORTRAN. | - |
