dc.description.abstract | Ergonomic ship design aims to impro ye the safety and convenience of crew and passenger. Recently, ergonomic design is a key issue in the warship design. In this paper, as a basis of analysing and evaluating ergonomic design criteria and evaluation methods for warship, existing military design guidelines and na vy criteria in the fields of ergonomics surveyed. Also, the methodology including ergonomic human model was introduced. Finally, it is shown that the erg onomics evaluation of a design at the early stag e of warship design can be performed using conirnerc ergonomics evaluation model such as Delmias ERG().evaluation methods for warship, existing military design guidelines and na vy criteria in the fields of ergonomics surveyed.
