dc.description.abstract | Reverse Engineering method using 3D scanner were developed in design, analysis and quality inspection of products. The 3D scanner was used such as making of drawing for product without drawing, comparison of the product with 3D CAD drawingand extraction of free form surface in field of machine, vehicle, aviation and marine. However, existing research is aimed to the error correction of the product. Before development of the reverse engineering method, suitable experimentalprocedure is necessary to identify the precision of the 3D scanner. Therefore, in this paper, experimental procedure is established using other types of the 3D scanner and environment is set for the reverse engineering. Also the quantitative verification method for the 3D scanner is proposed and accuracy of 3D scanner is verified quantitatively by comparison and analysis of 3D scan data and 3D CAD data. | - |
