dc.description.abstract | This paper presents the hull form development and the characteristics of powering performance for a large high speed special ship. A parent hull form, selected based on the similar ships, modified according to the initial specification. Three fore-bodies and two after-bodies were designed, and three ship models(F1+A1, F2+A2, F3+A2) were tested to confirm the powering performance characteristics. The characteristics of cavitation and pressure fluctuation of a design propeller was surveyed. | - |
