dc.description.abstract | A three specimen of Icelus toyamensis, belonging to Cottidae, Scorpaeniformes, was firstly collected from the East Sea, Korea during 2007~2009. Icelus toyamensis is characterized by the absence of spinous scales on the base of dorsal fin. Small ctenoid scales scattered on body sides.
