- Abstract
- The performance of a two-dimensional Oscillating Water Column (OWC) is estimated under the assumption of linear potential theory. The eigen-function expansion method is employed to arrive at the analytic solution for the wave field and the air flow in the chamber. The effects of nonuniform pressure as well as air compressibility are considered. The performance characteristics of OWC are examined extensively according to the geometric changes such as chamber length and barrier depth.
