dc.description.abstract | In this study, a regression model of the transfer function for the wavemaker of the DOEB(Deep Ocean Engineering Basin) is developed. The DOEB has geometrical characteristics due to the current inlet and the false bottom. A two-dimensional boundary element method is used to reflect the characteristics of complex geometric shapes of the DOEB. The numerical method is validated through comparison between the numerical solution and the theoretical solution. Using the validated numerical method, the effect of the geometrical characteristics of the DOEB on the transfer function of wavemaker is numerically observed. A regression model is derived using the transfer function derived from the numerical results. | - |
