dc.description.abstractIn this study, a model test was conducted to evaluate the motion response and mooring system performance of KRISO standard Semi-submersible, K-SEMI in the DOEB(Deep Ocean Engineering Basin), whish is the world's largest ocean basin newly constructed in Saenggok, Busan, The model test was carried out with a 1/50 scale model, and 12 mooring lines were included. The same model test condition and configuration was implemented in the DOEB to verify the results of the model testscompared to those of Ocean Engineering Basin. The target water depth was 3.2m, the truncated mooring line was designed and applied in this model test. Measurement items were 6-DOF motion, mooring line tensions, and wave run-up around the column and deck side. Model tests were performed to verify the accuracy of the DOEB results compared to the results of OEB under the same conditions in terms of RAO, which was evaluated from regular and white noise wave condition and dynamicbehavior of mooring line tension. From this experimental study, the model test results in the DOEB shows good agreement with results obtained in the OEB.-
