dc.description.abstract | In accordance with the recent regulations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), ships operating must improve ship efficiency, such as the provision of carbon emission reduction devices. In order to implement the regulation, a number of studies are underway on systems that recover and reuse large amounts of waste heat generated by ships such as engines. This research designed an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) using the low-temperature coolant generated from the ship's scavenger (SAC) as a heat source. System performance was analyzed when the pressure of the working fluid was changed from 8.5 bar to 12.5 bar at the turbine inlet when the flow rate and temperature of the heat source were constant in the corresponding cycle with R134a as the working fluid. | - |
