dc.description.abstractIn this paper, we implement a multi-hop short-range underwater acoustic network (UANet). We design an interface between physical layer and upper layers, and we implement the short-range UANet as a Linux-based software. Graphic user interface (GUI) is also implemented to control and operate the Linux-based network software. In order to verify the function of the implemented multi-hoip short-range UANet software, the physical layer is emulated by a software program and the scenarios are configured to confirm the core functions.-
