In order to increase the spectral efficiency and avoid interference, a spectrum sensing scheduling method considering the unique underwater characteristics is required to apply the cognitive network technologies to the open spectrum of the underwater acoustic networks. In this paper, we compare and analyze the methods for spectrum sensing scheduling, and discuss the possibility of applying the sensing scheduling method to the underwater acoustic cognitive networks.-
