dc.description.abstractThis paper describes an autonomous control system of a renewable wave power plant named “CHUJEON A”, which is a prototype of renewable floating wave energy device. A wound rotor induction machine is adopted as an energy conversion device of CHUJEON A. The control system of the CHUJEON A supplies the excitation currents for induction generator, changes the number of poles with rotor speed, adjusts the local load with output power of generator, and controls the emergency gasoline engine generator with battery status autonomously. The configuration of autonomous control system and some experimental results are illustrated in this paper.-
