dc.description.abstract | In order to develope the intake-diffuser with good performance for the waterjet propulsion system, new experimental device was designed and manufactured. The experimental device is installed on the test section of the KRISO cavitation tunnel. The efficiency of the intake-diffuser is calculated using the measurement result of 1-hole and 5-hole pitot tubes(probes). The calibration of the 5-hole probes is conducted at the cavitation tunnel. The cavitation inception occurs at the intake lip, and its occurrence location depends on IVR (Inlet Velocity Ratio) condition. | - |
