dc.description.abstractValidation of a coupled viscous/potential flow method for predicting propeller-hull interaction is provided through detailed comparisons with recent measurements for KRISO 138K LNG Carrier model ship. The method of radial- and angular-varying body-force distribution is placed in the three-dimensional incompressible RANS code, WAVIS developed at KRISO by couple with potential flow method. The present method enables to simulate three-dimensional propeller-hull interaction including the differences for the nominal and effective wake and for the resulting self-propulsion propeller performance-
