dc.description.abstractRisk-based safety assessment method is being applied to marine systems in order to reduce major marine accidents. This paper proposes integrated ship risk management system. The system addresses accidents causes such as human error, hardware failure and external events integratedly and aims to show an effective means to manage accident risks during ship operation. The system calculates risk index for each accident category and determine highly probable accident scenarios for the accident category with high risk level using integrated risk model which covers accident causes and consequences. A prototype of the proposed system has been implemented to be used in passenger vessels for collision and grounding accident.-
