dc.description.abstractIn this paper, an experimental computational study has been made to inveatigate the effect of the votex gererator on the variation in the stern flow and the hydrodynamic performance of the handy-sized ship. A CFD method was utilized to optimize the position of vortex generator. The stern flow is measured by a 5 hole Pitot tube without and with several vortex generator. Furthermore, the cavitation and hull pressure fluctuation tests are performed to confirm the cavitation perfomance for final selected vortex generator.-
