dc.description.abstractIn the future, on-board NOx continuous emissions monitoring system(CEMS) should be required. CEMS should be enough to monitor NOx both steady-state and transitional operations and to demonstrate continuous compliance. This paper review the techniques for on-board NOx CEMS for the purpose of localization. On-board NOx CEMS should be simple, cheap and above all does not place a burden on the seafarer and also include a data processing program and a quality control(QC) system.-
